Prominent, international chef, Ashley Charles James, travels the United States to cook with famous foreign French chefs or an ethnic influence chef to unveil their celebrated delicacies and contributions to the American Cuisine.
An Englishman, Ashley designs the menus and oversees the kitchens at the world famous Four Seasons hotel in Beverly Hills. He has built the hotel’s dining experience into a premiere west coast culinary encounter, attracting a large fan base of A List Hollywood Talent. Having lived in many exotic culinary destinations and participated in world-renowned gourmet festivals, Ashley is an inspiration sharing his talents and knowledge throughout the globe with other Four Seasons’ chefs.
Now this premiere chef will explore how America’s melting pot culture influenced the American cuisine and how regional American cooking impacted illustrious foreign chefs. Each week Ashley will visit a legendary foreign French chef or a renowned American Chef at their eminent restaurant to create a signature meal. Inspired by the regional cultural cuisine of America and their distinctive, stylistic gastronomic knowledge, both Ashley and our guest chef will create a complete meal.
Whether a Guy Savoy, Johaguin Spichal, ABen Bennameur, our celebrated guest chef and Ashley will create an entire meal, including an appetizer, main dish and a desert, reflective of America’s cultural cuisine.
